She's Gone

byJhenn©

The sun sets on another day without you here,

i struggle for breath, for balance, for focus

i spiral deep with the sun

needing to hold you, touch you, feel you against me

the hole, bigger tonight than last

a single tear drop against the pillow that once held your head

i drift off into nothingness

only to wake against the harsh sun

to have another day without you

again
