All in a dream,
I heard your scream,
Calling to me,
I ran to see.
On and on to your side,
Until in the shadows, a form I spied.
To see what's wrong,
I ran head-long,
Touching your face,
as you stared into space.
Never to speak,
the future is bleak,
this one tiny flaw,
I'll never know what you saw.
