LEMONIA / (F)LIP EDELTRAUD => BIG SOUTH WEATHER no. 3

HILLSIDE
SATURDAY NIGHT
2/3/2013 (22:20)

SHOT IN THE DARK

The Big South Weather had stopped a few days,
I thought you may call for a change,
I hoped for some news, but you keep your old ways,
And probably you’re out of range.

I’m left with a shot in the dark and I’ll use it,
Effective when used on adults,
This new life takes effort to feel and to fuse it,
I don’t want to spoil its results.

The Big South Weather tonight is blowing,
The north wind has dropped and has died,
And my inspiration on you freely flowing,
Returns to our past summer wild.

Your falsehood those nights is beyond understanding,
Hell-bend on destruction you were,
Provoking, abusing, our love notwithstanding,
You think you can kill, so you dare.

By tracking my records I bring every instant,
In front of my eyes again,
However confusing or gone in time distant,
My pain still remains my pain.

I’m left with a shot in the dark and I’ll use it,
I've got so much time to waste,
This song been the shame, again you could choose it,
Assuming you had better taste.
