Talk is cheap,
Promises don't keep,
Desire is not fire;
All you have to do
Is show me how wonderful
You are as a lover.
A parrot can talk
But can't satisfy a lover;
What you do speaks so loudly
I can't hear what you are saying;
Actions speak for themselves;
So SHOW me what you can do,
Not what you think you can do;
Don't waste my time on quickies
And "I'm sorry" junk words
When you fail to produce;
Don't blame the booze or
Being tired and needing a snooze.
Put it up or shut up...I
Want a marathon, not a 100 yard dash.
