Cherish the silent beauty before you
Take in the vibrant color
Inhale the intoxicating aroma
Feel your senses spinning
From the tip of your nose
Circling and spiraling
Reaching down to your toes
Sensations buzz in your ear like a bee
Sending soothing shivers across your bosom
Momentarily surrendered to this silent beauty
Forfeiting your senses to see
As you reach out to embrace
You find only cold space
And the tightening in your ribs
Flips your stomach
Swallowing hard you turn
Trying to walk away from the ache
But burnt into your mind
Is the silent beauty
Resting silently as she does
Presented nicely with a bow to bind
