Now he lays me down to sleep
to silent slumber thoughts so deep,
Although my eyes are open wide my
dreams of him stir deep inside.
My days are fuller, with thoughts of him
being there, laughing on a whim
His whispered thoughts that I can hear, with
unspoken words of feelings; clear.

Not a touch shared, a lip brushed, a hand held
a feeling rushed,
So simple it is for us to share,
our feelings, desires, our own despair.
In my dreams my Sandman comes, and
holds me close as if we're one.
With his thoughts he touches me, caresses thru my soul
mending broken pieces he doesn't even know
When I awake and he's not there, an empty feeling fills my air
God Bless my Silent Sandman, wrap your arms around him please
For he's given me a precious gift of Silent Memories.
