I remember a thought,
It has rooted and grown in my mind,
Woman laid out before my eyes,
Her body stretched out in silent waiting.
Face down on a bed of glory,
Her legs and arms splayed out in display,
So beautiful and breathtaking I remember,
My mind toys with the image,
Her body stretched out in silent waiting.
I see myself standing next to her and bending over to whisper,
"Don't move"
I feel my hands exploring her flesh,
I feel the cloth in my hands,
I gently but firmly bind her wrists and ankles to the bed,
Again I whisper, "You are safe with me."
Her body is stretched out in silent waiting.
My hands glide across her silken skin,
Tracing and moving with no pattern or no purpose,
But to feel the her and to be with her,
My lips taste her,
My mind races with her scent,
I feel whole and alive,
Her body stretched out in silent waiting.
The memories fade and I sit here alone,
The thought is but a dream,
Of glories never told,
But I wonder at times and ponder a thought,
If it is not her but me,
Body stretched out in silent waiting.
