I go away
as quick as I come
blushed in red heat
like peppers
crushed
creeping up my collar.
This time I thought of what to tell
and what to not
and it was still too much
to undertake.
Next time perhaps
I’ll pull on that silk
that whispers a charmed life
and like a butterfly emerging
reinvent myself.
Next time…
perhaps.
