Slipped a little
black
into my rainbow.
Craved a little
gold
without an end.
Felt a bit
impish
when no soul searched.
Think I’m feeling
things
he hasn’t felt.

Tied myself up
here
far too long.
Then let those ribbons
slide
from a silver bow.
Freedom I thought
lifted
wouldn’t muddy waters.
Snuck a dream
off
his cloud again.
