(written for a past Lover *sigh*)

Olivia
Olivia
Olivia
Thrice it must be said
Like a tapering echo
It is
Lost
yet not lost
Abandoned
Yet not
Identity
Crisis
Yet not
Look there
Still lays
The open window
The pump
Vanilla taken in with
Your baby breathes
and song
And many tears
Since the cradle
These now my memories
Yet not
My love of yesterdays
Yet not
I can not claim what is not mine
Nor lose what has claimed me
Quiet now
Hush
Behold
There
Our reflection in time’s great mirror
You are just parting open for me
For the first time
Exposing me to your element
Soaking me
I am drenched
Sinking
Seeping
Weeping
Not as babies do
But as the moisture that
Is trapped in wood
Rises weeping to the surface
Streaming and steaming in the fire
There in the glow of it
I sipped the difference
My skin made with yours
Saw my shadow lying upon your breasts
As I stood up in your garden
Deep in the place
Where your river flows
Bubbles and foams
Currents and eddies
My flesh
Churning
Within your flesh
The cascade of your belly
Carried me down into you
You made me be
One inside your river
Made me flow into you
Made me feel your heartbeat
There where you are all woman
Vanilla and pump and open window
And all this
And all this
And all this
Magnificent
And frightening
Angry red
And icy blue
Vein and artery
All This poetry
Unfinished
Undone
Ripped up and tossed
Gathered and glued
Completed
And abandoned
Olivia
Olivia
Olivia
This
Simple complexity
is our poetry
my dear
my darling
my love
it is not guilty or innocent
shamed or shammed
it is beautifully
all COCK
And all CUNT
PUSSY and PRICK
And that is beautifully
Beautiful
