"Sing the Moon"

Moonlit, lipsticked shimmers,
lapping waves of memories
match the azure of your eyes
in all things liquidly ethereal.

Tenderness’ profound nearness,
essential danse of merging,
I spread myself open to be
vulnerable only for your gaze.

Beneath our forest’s canopy,
indescribable undercurrent,
sanctuary for things night-lit,
made for darkened whispers.

Take me there, now, with you,
bring me to where you are,
grasp the stars and sing the moon,
pulled down with aching’s bliss.

Call to me, I’ll be there,
I want no other choice.
our road less traveled means, for us,
all paths lead home to you.

Ache for me, I’ll find you,
I’ll come to where you are.
you haunt me and it’s welcomed,
as I wait beneath our moon.
