I'm a sinner
without a savior
without a hope at all
I'm standing on a high wire
trying not to fall
my arms seem pinned
by my side
yet nothings present that binds
my feet slide across the wall
as if on wet glass
I reach out for a helping hand
only to bust my ass
you smile down at me
and my soul bleeds
you brush away my tears with a laugh
and I keel over in pain
you smile as I decay
"many tears will cause a heart to mildew, rot, and fall apart... many dreams will damage a mind, as you have ripped broken mine.."
