You just took a shower and I inhale, absorbing your scent like a sponge.
There is a barrier between us; we cannot touch.
Today you broke through.
I gulp the glass of water.
It’s chilled. Tastes like fluoride.
I’d rather taste like you.
I need to write a paper
If you stayed
What would we do?
Don’t answer. I’ll be here when you return.
The swallow (just like water)
I need to cleanse myself of you.
