Sit there and count your fingers
I am thru
Unlucky and forlorn
Heart aching and blue
Wondering if we are two?

My heart is getting
slow
Why can't I cheer up
And love the fact
We are two

I was young and crushed
by a scarf
Every moment
I spent within
That spiritual scent
Now I've grown older
Are you able to count
on me
Is my love lost
In a notion called two?
And my schoolgirl blues?
