Sitting down, thinking of you.

Sitting down, thinking of you.
Where are you now?  What do you do?

I see the sunlight flowing through your hair.
Flowing over your shoulders bare.

Sitting down, thinking of you.
Where are you now?  What do you do?

Within the deepest shadows of the night.
Dark shapes are moving, hiding from the light.
Your hair, as always, is shielding me from harm.
When I'm inside you I always feel such calm.

Sitting down, thinking of you.
Where are you now?   What do you do?

The morning sun awakes the world.
But you have left me and I lie here alone.
Let me have the darkness and all that goes with that.
Why must the sun remind me that I am on my own?

Sitting down, thinking of you.
Where are you now?  What do you do?
