Sitting here, loving you

I am thinking of a smell so sweet, so aromatic
That I begin to feel lightheaded
I'm thinking of the woman I've just bedded
Thinking of the woman I should be wedded
To
I'm thinking, sitting here, loving you

I'm dreaming of a woman, for me, so perfect
This wondrous being that I find so enthralling
I'm dreaming that I hear her sweet voice calling
I'm dreaming of this cloud that I am falling
Through
I'm dreaming, sitting here, loving you

I am wishing that these words, somewhat cathartic,
Will somehow find their way to you
I'm wishing that there's love in all we do
I'm wishing that I could drown in your favorite blue
Hue
I'm wishing, sitting here, loving you

I'm hoping that, years from now, when you reflect
Upon our time together, ended much too soon
That you'll forever want to meet me at the moon
I'm hoping thoughts of me will still make you swoon
Too
I'm hoping, sitting here, loving you.
