Six years, and after all this time, the scab still comes off and the heart bleeds anew. The soul still stings with the lash of heartache and yearning. The mind still pauses to recall as best one can the treasured moments that only be cherished from a distance now. The eye still seeks to see the face again that it saw never in the flesh at all, but only in its imagination. The tears still flow like streams in my old mountainous homeland.

Until we meet again, who never met face to face, let me dream and know that you are where you wish to be.
