"as your manager...
I see this all as part of your creativity...
financially a great business decision on both our parts..."
...her words stumbled upon themselves as if rolling off her tongue at one and the same point
" ...but as a woman I can't help but feel daunted."
I sauntered over, refilling her wine with bottle.
"Does this become a problem for us?" I said, as I topped off my glass also.
"Yes...and no. I mean...like...we've worked together to bring your creations together, we have books, anthologies, deals with two different publishers. We have your sketches selling as fast as your stories, at an equally if not greater profit."
"...and?"....I replied at her pause.
"Your receiving invitations to some pretty famous people in the world..I sometimes wonder if I'm not stunting your growth, maybe the ballgame is for a better manager with greater connections."
"Do I pay you enough?"...I said with gravity.
"I'm already set for life with the percentage we agreed upon." She said firmly.
"Ok." "So we're both happy."....
"....yes, but, as a woman I've grown to see and feel for what should have been just a business partner..."
"I guess what I'm saying is I've begun feeling those chaining thoughts of love...I guess thats how you would see them."
...I paced back and forth over the carpet as I thought about her words, she just sat back in the couch, tipping her glass to her lips.
"I'm in a snakes nest wrapped up in contradictions...I want to own, possess you...I want you to do to me what you've done to the characters in your books. I want to become a slut to you. And I guess I want all that for more then one night. I want to wake up with you everymorning that I have left on this earth. But...how could that ever be enough for you. I know all the women you've been with since hiring me. I've seen them in your sketches. I've recognized them in your stories. On an even more personal level, I've had to explain to my mother what it is you create and that I market your works. My brother and sisters own signed copies of your books...they always want to know if I'm banging with you yet. The media keeps contacting me for news on you keeping just one woman in your life...the magazines are begging for it! I want to be that woman...but I never tell them this. But if it were to happen, if all the variables worked out, could you still create with your passion...being chained in love with one woman. Could I ever succeed at being the woman to lasso you down to one corral?"

silence hung in the room echoing her words.
finally I spoke...
"why don't I give you a taste of my world, tonight. If in the morning you still want to be a part of it...we'll go from there. If it's too much for you, then nothing will become of it."

"I have a bag in the car..." she said, "I was hoping, fantasizing, you'd ask me to stay the night. May I carry it to the room?"
her eyes sparkled, her lips moist, her voice quivered as she spoke the words. Underneath all this...I could feel her heat.
