I saw that girl on the street today.
It was completely by chance.
What does she have that I didn't give you?
Some nameless thing, some quality
Which made you abandon our romance?

She was buying a sweater for your birthday.
How sweet, how disgustingly cute!
Have you ever told her about all the gifts
That I gave to you with love, my former darling
In all our time together?

I thought not.

So tell me, how could you steal my heart
Then throw it all away, in the blink of an eye?
Didn't you know that I would have done anything for you?
Do you know that some nights I still cry
Over how you treated me?

I hope that she knows what she has earned.
A piece of garbage under the mask of a man.
If she doesn't know, she'll soon learn
And then you'll be alone, like me.
