Racing with a wind that screams,
I am dancing in my dreams.
Escaping with my mind into
     another realm, a dark tableau.

A time will come, some future day
     mortality will slip away,
and with it I will quietly flow
into that place of magic glow.

I will see unearthly sights,
     consort with supernatural frights,
and I know that I will pay
whatever price it costs to stay.

When you find the empty shell,
my Earth-bound soul, freed from this Hell,
descry the smile upon my lips,
hear my laugh in ghostly wisps.

Within the silent dead of night,
     humankind far out of sight,
You feel a touch, but no one near,
do not shrink back in abject fear.

‘Tis only me, a breath away,
come to ask you out to play.
Slip into my world with me.
     I’ll guarantee eternity.

Supernatural delights?

A nice one---tho I doubt I'm ready to play her games---I have this strange desire for a looooong life.

No thanks

I'm not coming out to play--not that game at least. Not my time--not for a LONG time!!

The Queen of Rhyme here is out to play

In a realm we all one day will face

Though then again perhaps it's best

To decline premature invitations to join the game.
