The gingerbread man has burnt down our house
No more candy coated existence for us, he says
Now we're out on the street living in cardboard boxes
Begging for cinnamon along with a dash of clove

Fairy tales and puppy dog tails
That's what naughty boys are made of
Not like us precious little girls
Made of sugar and spice and everything nice

As my x's and y's tumbled over your z's
We hoped nobody saw the cats in the cupboard
Or heard our loud hisses and meows late at night
As we clawed at each other with misplaced verbage

Fairy tales, snips and snails
That's what naughty boys are made of
Not like us precious little girls
Made of sugar and spice and everything nice

Not even an apple a day will keep the shrink away
Sure you can roast me with all of your friends
Making cracks at me seven days a week
But you can't knock the good doctor in the head

Fairy tales and puppy dog tails
That's what naughty boys are made of
Not like us precious little girls
Made of sugar and spice and everything nice

Oh you had to have your five little lovers
One from the meet market, one to share roast beef
One for home, two leaving me alone with none
Making me go wee, wee, wee all the way home

Fairy tales, snips and snails
That's what naughty boys are made of
Not like us precious little girls
Made of sugar and spice and everything nice

So we've finally reached the end of our rainbow
No pot of gold waiting in exchange for all our troubles
Just a ride down a slippery slope of lost hope
Of fantastical delusions born out of impatient illusions

Fairy tales and puppy dog tails
That's what naughty boys are made of
Not like us precious little girls
Made of sugar and spice and everything nice

Fairy tales, snips and snails
That's what naughty boys are made of
Not like us precious little girls
Made of sugar and spice and everything nice
So little boys, little boys, bad little boys
Before Father Time spanks your behind
Stop fondling sweet little girls wares
Inside Mother Hubbard's kitchen drawers

Sweet little girls that are made of sugar and spice
Everything that little boys wish they were made of

Skye's verse is so sweet,

You sure you're NOT Southern?

So nicely she skewers us bad little boys......
