Dark tresses bounce and swing
As a dress of dark green jade silk whirls
Shadowed Terra Firma slows on her axis with a soft smile
And a single moment is stretched by motion

In the power of movement, a beat is skipped
Her eyes, dark, rich and full of life’s wisdom
All life’s mysteries sucked into the unknown of a deep, dark cavern
Full with all the warmth of Mother Earth

No tempest shakes me like her movement can
The sound of laughter long remembered and clung to
If absence makes the heart grow fonder
My heart strains to contain what is at my core
