Forehead of sweat
Butterfly cringe
Busted for stealing
And lying to friends

Cross armed with stare
The look in her eyes
A strut in her stance
Excuses denied

Down at his shoes
Away from her glare
Scolding grows louder
Soap in her hand

Childish behavior
A whimpering boy
His mouth will be washed
Her toothbrush in hand

Beside her he kneels
Cradled and snug
Suds over sink
he blubbers and glugs

Her boyfriend held firm
She washes and lectures
A face red and sorry
He'll remember this lesson
