Are you soft,
in all the right places?
Will I ever find out for myself.

Or are you hard,
In your heart,
when it comes to loving me.

I wish I knew for certain,
which way do you lean,
If only I knew for sure,
to what exactly you mean.

When you say you love me too,
but to what extent I wonder,
I'm afraid to ask you staight out,
I might commit an unforgivable blunder.

So are you soft,
in your heart for me,
and will I ever know,

I hope the day
will come soon,
that you will tell me so.
