Softly Spoken Dreams

She whispers to herself
In her room dressed white
From the candles shining off the walls
She searches for something
As she stares into nothing
And she finds nothing at all

She holds her glass to her heart
And a pen dangles loosely
In her other fragile hand
As her whispers form a song
Awakening her soul
She sees the face of a man

He hovers over her body
And whispers softly
Through the image that she dreams
He fills in the blanks
Of her missing words
And her lonely heart is redeemed

She dreams of her Angel
And his vibrant stars
Painted in the her mind's eye
And the radiant touch
Of the jewels above
Dance between her thighs.
