As I walk through the ruins
of heaven once more
I notice something new
a plain wooden door

Just standing alone
with no support
In the middle of four fountains
of blood they spat more

It is not right
to see this door
just standing alone
with no support

In the center of the fountains
of which there are four
I take a step towards it
I take one step more

As I approach the door
I see a sign that is new
A sign that was not there before
These are the words on the sign
By the plain wooden door

Enter ye warrior
Your hearts been found pure
Enter ye warrior
And save heaven once more

The sign was a warning
that sign by the door
the sign was a welcome
and what did it mean "once more"

I stood there for hours
by that plain wooden door
re-reading the sign
as if it were lore

I considered my options
I thought it all out
I made a decision
and chose my next route

I reached for the handle
I opened the plain wooden door
and with a pang in my heart
I was a soldier once more

This shows insight of a person who goes into a life with their eyes WIDE open and aknowleding that a soldier is faced with death every day.

Like it very much.

There are to many young that join just for the college money never thinking of the reality of a SOLDIER'S LIFE.
