On the ground
before the plane took off
my girlfriend said "I hope
you don't die in a crash
or anything" and I said
"Don't worry; if there's a crash
I'll be the sole survivor" and
she didn't believe me
so I said it
again.

Looking down now from this
ten thousand storey building
I'm not so sure
but I said it and I have to
follow through
I should have said we'd all
survive
but I didn't think of it
and I'm sorry if I doomed you all
to die in a plane crash
but, hey, I have to think of
myself.
