The Life and Death Series
I am fascinated by how capricious life can be. I want to explore this theme as an extension of the double entendre that so many people find amusing. This poem is the first in a series with a life and death motif in which the same words could have been uttered by two persons with two very different motives: one about to soar on to greater things in the life in which the other will play no further part. - Cinner
Soliloquy of a Student... or the Tearful Whispers of a Suicidal Woman?
Someday soon, I will be free.
No need for others around me,
No need for pretence that all is well;
Someday soon, I will exchange Heaven for this Hell.
