It’s fine to whittle, exquisite to giggle.
And the kitten will tumble and twist and wriggle.
The Sun will bounce high in the sky,
and fall brightly below.
So, with the Moon in tow, Terra skips around ol’
Sol, the eye.
The sunbeam reflects like a cat’s wry intent.
It ricochets like the spectrum, prism bent.
Please don’t frustrate, the solar prime.
His smile sublime,
through billions in time.

The tree offers solace, from this charm
o’erwhelming.
Our tree offers grace, from this primary’s
scolding.
A tree offers strength, from opinions all
molding.
And the rain offers a taste, a release, from
o’erpowering.
