Running barefoot with free abandon
Across a beach of childhood dreams
Tiny feet splashing the water
That caresses down in joyous streams

A warm wind blowing innocence
Through fine flowing hair
The waves licking tiny toes
Filling their hearts with life and care

The sun reflects the sparkles
Of wonder in their eyes
The free laughter of the world
Full of amazement and surprise

Once again beneath my feet
I feel the warm and comforting sand
I will forever try to hold
Some grains of memories, tightly in my hand
