Something Magical

There's something magical about the breaths
Of air that you exhaled when you approached,
Walking from the shadows that you left,
Coming to be taught and trained and coached
And shown to look within, not feel bereft
When you've been taken and I have encroached

Upon your memories; nothing is left
To nurture, call your own, for I have coached
You to accept losses, so you're bereft
Of all that causes hurt, when aches encroached
Leaving you saddened, bleak, having no breaths
To ease you as each violent pain approached

The urges that burn your heart.Carefully coached,
Ensuring they aren't solitary; left
To their devices, which, if they're approached
Would steal you from me, leaving me bereft,
So only tears recall how they encroached
Upon the perfect partnership; our breaths

Mingled as we made love, tiredness encroached
Upon the waking hours, when our breaths
Were steady as we kissed, our lips so coached
To meld together, bonded, as we left
Desire to rest, as tranquil night approached
Driving us to dreams that seemed bereft

Lacking all emotion; feelings left
To such devices I've discerned and coached
You too to understand; you're not bereft,
Deprived of all you sought, when you approached
And came to me for usage and harsh breaths,
Inhaled with my lust: demands encroached

Filling you, as my hardness approached
The heart of all those reservations left
From past times, that still certainly encroached
Upon the way you gave yourself; those breaths
That came unevenly, before I coached
You just to serve, so you were not bereft

Of something magical, left when approached:
A pinnacle encroached with every breath
We've liberated: once bereft, you're coached.
