After words,
where higher lust meets animal calling,
when you see the sphinx with his nose,
sprouting through ice-shattered concrete,
reflected in glass shards muddied but rounded by the salt caresses of the sea,
dripping from a benevolent old lady's nose,
if we'll let it go,
there is something sacred these days.
