Sometimes I’d wonder what my life would be like
If you decided to fade away forever
Would I no longer have you hold me
Whisper loving words in my ear
See your eyes sparkle and gleam

Standing over your shoulder
Watching words come to life
Knowing you’re there when I need you
Your presence still humbles me even now

Dedication and time, a sweet longing
Knowing that I belong to you and you alone
My body always betrays me when I think of you
And yes you seem to know it

Know me all so well it seems
It is surprising how distance
Does not seem like distance at all
But in reality at this point it is all so heart wrenching

You are always right here with me
As I shall always be with you
