We’ve traveled down through history,
Partners forever, side by side,
Through every life we’ve ever lived
We’ve always found each other…
Somewhere in time.

We’ve lived through danger and discord,
Lived in peace and harmony,
Experienced agonizing lows
And flown together to the heights of ecstasy…
Somewhere in time.

Perhaps this life will be different,
For I’ve been waiting so long,
Searching for a sign that the time is now,
Thinking I hear you, feeling you near…
Somewhere in time.

I’ll know you in an instant,
My heart, my soul, my spirit will know,
Every fiber of my being will know,
Every cell memory will know…
Somewhere in time.

Though we’ve had many forms and faces,
I’ll know you from the sound of your voice,
From the touch of your hand,
From the look in your eyes…
Somewhere in time.

On the back of a fiery dragon,
On the back of steed black as midnight,
On the back of a throbbing Harley,
On the wings of a dove you’ll come to me…
Somewhere in time.

In dreams you come to me,
But your face is always hidden
By the shadows of the night, by a cloak, by my blindness,
And then in the morning you’re gone…
Somewhere in time.

But I’ll still be waiting,
As I have throughout the ages,
And when our separation has ended
We will join once more and soar into a new life…
Somewhere in time.
