The world it blossoms while life tiptoes through
as Spring leaves form and stretch toward the sky.
Then flowers bud and place my thoughts on you,
my little Lily; you're my butterfly.

I next succumb to warmth my body greets.
I think of you throughout those wondrous nights.
How Summer's passion rose beneath the sheets,
when in my bed, I dread the dawning lights.

Then all the green leaves fade to crimson red;
as my soul froze, I felt all my hope fall,
just like the leaves of Autumn -love is dead.
Despite the bond, away you fled it all.

This Winter rebuff left my heart so still.
Our love, I strive for it; you never will.
