My lady’s beauty far surpasses yours.
This is a fact, as anyone can see
If they should gaze upon my little whore’s
Delicate features: th’ angularity
Of my love’s slender face; the perfect ease
Of its proportions: small eyes (which she detests);
Her lips, her nose—the perfect centerpiece—
All in precise alignment. Behold her breasts,
The perfect size, her waist which then expands
Into the lush perfection of her ass,
Then like the fingers on her perfect hands
Taper her legs t’ her graceful feet. Alas!
Most anyone would say that it were madness
To bring this lady pain or grief or sadness.
