Alone, she sits
 as quiet surrounds.
Her tears of loneliness
 trickle down.
A life of pain
 she has had.
Memories of which
 are bitter and sad.
"Why should I live?"
 she cries out loud.
Happiness to her
 is a far off cloud.
Curled in a ball,
 silent with her tears.
No one else around
 to allay her fears.
Alone and afraid
 with just her sorrows.
How will she survive
 to see another tomorrow?
