When I look around and see you,
The person that I feel sorry for,
Watching you throw your life away,
I sit and wonder why,
Violence and drugs are your only salvation,
Wasting away before my very eyes
Someday you may quit your dirty habit
that I despise,
Someday when your better off,
I will cry,
and pray for you
Someday when you have nothing
to live for,
I will be here,
I will stand up for you

Powerful piece...

about unconditional support throughout a situation many people choose not to acknowledge.

strong and sad

a nicely written piece

on a terrible subject that

most people choose to ignore

because it is too hard to

deal with.

Nice work,

thanks.
