Sorrow finds me when I'm sleeping
Visiting the dreams I'm keeping
Always leaves me gently weeping
Because I can't let go

Sorrow finds me when I'm waking
Any happy dreams forsaking
Another bleak day in the making
Because I won't let go.

Sorrow finds me when I'm working
Mind wandering, my duties shirking
Depression 'round the corner lurking,
As I fight to let go.

Sorrow leaves me when I'm dying
No more pain and no more crying
Away from earthly troubles flying
Dear God help me let go.

I like the thought behind this, rhyme scheme gives a nice echo effect. Execution could be better, but that could be said for anything. The last Stanza as is, get rid off, plummets to trite, not what you want.
