I was so sad when you said, “You want to just be friends”
I was sad because you didn’t want my love
It hurt real bad, but then I realized
That you are the one missing out on my love
So now I am sad for you
You don’t know what you are missing
Because my love for you is so special
Since you do not want it
I shall save my love for another
Someone who wants it and can appreciate it
I’m just sorry it was not you
