Soul Mates
From the instant, our friendship grew;
My Soul Mate, It had to be you.
Blame it on the gods above,
I finally found true love.
How was I to know if the love would last?
I knew you were my best friend from the past.
Though we never met.
The gods above had it all set.
The days flew by one after another;
For hours we sat and talked to each other.
Like old friends we were, I remember.
Funny that I could find a soul mate in a stranger.
The love we have is so intense;
It only made one kind of sense.
Lovers we thought we were meant to be.
It is the friendship that holds the true key.
As much as it hurt to say,
Being friends is the only way.
This is a relationship has change my life inside and out,
My Soul Mate is my best friend without a doubt.
