Two hearts entwined, two souls shared, opened bare.
Emotions shaped and molded by the hands of time,
into a deep love that spans the centuries and beyond.

Whether found by accident or bound by fate
I know not which, though I can't fathom my days had we not,
for my life would be not as rich without the sorrows
that have caused growth nor as happy without
the smiles and laughter we have known together.

We are sisters, we are friends, we are love
to the other...a gift like none other.

"Emotions shaped and molded by the hands of time..." In my own poetry, I have favorite lines that sound more poetic and convey the thought well. That line from this poem is one I could read over and over again, envisioning the many ways the hands of time sculpted those emotions. Beautiful, just beautiful.
