Soulfulness

When I look deep
Into your eyes,
There’s a soulfulness that is real.
That when I’m away from you,
There’s a true emptiness,
That I feel.

You shiver me,
To the bone.
Day and night,
This love of ours,
Is strong and tight.

You’ve given me hope,
That love is alive,
And it prospers.
It’s a love so strong,
And sure.
It can not be defined,
By words on the page.
Except for the word,
Soulfulness.
