Sometimes my mind wanders
Pursuing things that it really shouldn't
Awakening things I didn't want it to
Waiting for me to shut it off
Never ceasing by itself

Somehow I still think of you
Pushing me further than comfort would allow
Annihilating any chance I had of normalcy
Waiting for me to decay
Never taking the high road

Somewhere there is a man
Perhaps he is my only one
Although it doesn't matter now
Waiting for him won't change what's done
Neither will regret

Someday my dream will be fulfilled
Perpetual love will be an easy idea to grasp
A life no longer waited for but had
When I can be at peace
Now, tomorrow, forever and always.

The end is now. The end is
