She speaks endlessly of aches and pains,
Some real, some imagined.
She speaks endlessly of remedies and nostra.
Some useful, some not.

She speaks endlessly of implements and utensils,
That escape her hands.
She chides them endlessly for not obeying.
None ever does.

She speaks endlessly of the tasks ahead,
Some accomplished, some not.
She speaks endlessly to the plants and flowers.
They listen not, and grow anyway.

She speaks endlessly to the birds and animals,
Even though they cannot hear her.
She speaks endlessly to the traffic that will not pass,
Even as it speeds past her.

She speaks endlessly to the TV to show them the way.
It answers not, for it cannot hear her.
She speaks endlessly to the device that will not obey.
She knows not how to work it.

She speaks, endlessly.

Worries, nags, frets, and complains. Normally, repetition doesn't work but here it's an excellent device for revealing the male's perspective. She may be venting but he, in true male-brain reaction, tunes it out as a distraction. Well done.

Although the repetitious phrasing and rhythm in this poem illustrates the endless nagging discussed in it, I think a little less would have brought a lot more to the table. Still a good poem and I really enjoyed the read.

Oh my.

A domestic engineer wrapped up inside a 'Lady Chatterbox'. D.H. Lawrence would be mortified. I wonder how many hubbies have such a sweet combination for a wife. Oops, don't answer guys, you may get cutoff.
