SPIN CYCLE

at the laundramat,
a woman says,
"all i do is cook,
clean and lay on the couch."
it sounds - cliche
if not boring.
maybe if i heard her say,
"i had to fuck the landlord
last night because I didn't
have the rent money,
because my spousal support stopped."
at least now it doesn't sound
as lifeless as it started out.

dc, you need to have your laundry done elsewhere!

A funny one, nice foil to your serious poems.

"Life goes on," so the saying goes;

but what about life for the lifeless?

rolling on the floor laughing

I have a Friend who owns two trailer parks and over fifty rent houses and his philosophy is he'll take sex for the late charges but never for the entire rent, unless they want to work out a weekly leg spreading payment plan <grin>
