Two lost spirits
Dressed in malnourished flesh
Take to the ocean
And drift aimlessly
Unconsummated longing
Consciousness ebbing
The beacon flickers in gasps
And hope fades away
Dream laced sails
Luff on windless water
Waiting to hear
The breaking glass
Setting free zephyrs of chance
To fill hope sewn sails
And fuel the voyage
Charted for destiny
Helplessly snared
In riptides of lust
Two vessels collide
In the raging sea
Overtaken by hunger
They feast on each other
Devouring passion
To nourish starved souls
Feelings forgotten
In the grey matter
Stirred into life
Wild and untamed
Ravished flesh
Ravishing flesh
Grabbing for more
Pulling in deeper
Feeding the fury
That fuels the fire
Dousing the flames
Then rekindling desire
Timeless as the waves
That pound the sandy shore
Never enough to satisfy
Forever needing more.
