Her hair absorbed the sun
His reflected the night
She was a goddess of the sea
He was of mortal earth

Their merging rode the tides
Lust inflamed the moon
Their thirst of naked desire
Crashing with the waves

Salty breeze whispers
Amplified their hunger
Rocks protect their flight
The sea stroked their need

Alone with their want
Days turning to hours
Pounding surf carried them
To a passion they never knew

Marks of their joining
Unfelt in their heat
Relentless in their craving
Their climax echoing time

Night retreats to day
The sea releases the tide
Two spirits eternally joined
Ghosts along the beach
