see i wouldn't exactly call myself a spoken word artist
i'm life on a page
i'm every word in the english language personified
i rejoice in every conflicting emotion i feel because i'm alive
and i've arrived at this point in my life where i feel i can ahhhh
breathe with ease and let be what must be for me to be
fall back from me
and put my faith in he or she however you believe
i've found myself religiously
paying homage because he ceased to be for me
and our connection is such that i understand
phobic slander in his name is lush with human emotion
because they fail to comprehend
the ultimate message at hand is love
love he and in turn learn to love we
for whomever that we may be
see i'm not a spoken word artist
i'm wisdom beyond my years
an esoteric soul personified
hoping to expand what in between your ears

Too Good!

Lots and lots of great lines in this piece. It was just a tiny bit wordy in places, but the poem as a whole was very, very good. BTW, I really loved the line "i've found myself religiously" :)
