I like him like I do Spree candy. Rolling him
on my tongue, he's a smooth tang then surprise;
he's a tart. I'm pucker-lipped, waiting
for his sweet, but I don't. I'm impatient.
I bite, crack him in two, chew until he's stuck
in my molars. He melts away without much regret.
